Hey human151, thanks for the comment. I am leaving to navy boot camp this august and will then go off to “A” school for either IT or Engineering. My family and I are hoping we get stationed JAX. I am from Jersey and would like to stay in the East, thinking if VA, SC, or FL was an option, I’d choose FL first. However, I hear plenty of great things about San Diego, but don’t really see myself there with my family. What do you recommend?

I lived in JAX for …
I lived in JAX for four years while in the Navy. You do not appreciate it until you leave. I moved back to Los Angeles and noticed how much I hated LA once I began comparing it to JAX. Now I live in Vegas and now I appreciate the beauty of JAX. Every place had negative as well as positive, Jacksonville is no different, but Its positives outweigh the negative..by far. I have decided to move back with my wife @ the end of 2010. See y’all there!!!

I have lived in …
I have lived in J-ville since I was a little kid. I have also traveled all around the country and out of the country and believe me Jacksonville is a lot better than many places I have seen. Is it the best? No. Is it the worst? Not even close. If you don’t like the place why don’t you just leave? No one will miss you. It is getting to crowded here anyways. This video is kind of cheesy but I think Jacksonville is a special city.

been to jax beach and like it. what are some more fun places to tour in florida where they possibly have fun events like car shows, bands, good nightclubs, or any cool event. have been to a car show at ana maria, fl. looking to go back for vacation. between jacksonville, tallahassee, orlando, pensacola, tampa, gainesville, or daytona i wonder which one right now has the most things going on.
