I’d like to add that also with a condo it includes the hazard insurance which for a townhome must be paid separately (at least in Broward county Florida). So using your example of a $200 difference between t/h and condo fees, at least $100-150 would probably go to property insurance. So really it’s almost a wash. Then you have to figure does the condo fee include something you would pay anyway, like water, security or cable.
