The number of pre-owned houses on the market in North Texas grew in September — up 4 percent to 41,594 homes listed for sale. The median sale price of pre-owned houses fell by 3 percent from a year ago to $134,900. Through the first nine months of 2004, there was no real change overall in local home prices.
