Politics: Gaddafi gone?Why don’t the Libyan rebels go home now instead of hang out in the street like homeless?
I thought they had cozy homes to go to where the normal Libyans used to live so it’s there’s for the taking now yes? DOH! They trashed the place. But why trash their new luxury homes bit weird innit?
In fact why did they originally ride into Libya and trash any of it to begin with if they lived there not very discrete is it?
And Why does trashing the place make things nice and homely for them, they must surely feel foolish now?
They are making me scratch my head a bit.
So what should they do? A) more street improvements or B) some homemaking?
……. Nah let’s march down the street chanting and acting like weirdoes.

If I was a rebel I’d being havin me a BBQ next to some loyalists pool (for drink’n water) before everything in the fridge goes off.
The BIG question is where they all be a poop’n now that the sewers don’t work.
True they were tricked and coerced but the poor dumbasses just rebelled themselves back into the stone age.
Chaos is what the western allies were after and they’ve succeeded in spades..

They’re still mopping up what’s left of Gaddafi’s loyalists.
p.s. Why didnt’ the US go home when Saddam was gone?

I think they’re just celebrating their victory and fighting what remains of loyalist forces.

There is no one in charge yet. Until they put in place a government they don’t have anyone to tell them what to do.

Yeah, and why didn’t Americans just stay home instead of trashing the country in the American Revolution, fighting battles in Boston, Brooklyn, Trenton, and all over our major cities and towns. And why didn’t our soldiers just go home after they beat the British and not wait until after the Brits signed the peace treaty and the French gave us a loan to rebuild?

the problem they face now is the ordinary people that have done the fighting will now want their reward, anything worth looting will be taken and anything the old governments supporters have will be fair game.
these so called rebels are not just going to turn round and go back home, they sense a chance in a life time and they are going to grab what they can

Be patient. As soon as the new government is installed the rebels will get to work building truck bombs to blow them up. The pay isn’t great but hey it’s a job.
