How are Irish Gypsies able to afford expensive cars and luxury homes?
Because they steal our stiff.. A couple of them came up here from down south a couple weeks ago And stole our chainsaw @@ least to say they’ll probably not last too long in ni before they get attacked because we arent soft.. EDIT: RACISM are you frigging foreal? Do you even know what racism is? LOL i think your pathetic and you need to get yourself sorted out before somebody beats you up. Especially if you ever come to northern ireland. Seriously you’ll never get about with that attitude you have it STINKS.

By Cigarette smuggling mostly, scrap metal thiefs, stealing and selling power tools, illegal dog and cock fights, defrauding the government, no mortgage or income tax to pay either, the occasional bank robbery in England..it all adds up you know.

They know how to milk the system for every last penny – and they do. Some of them were registered for dole at several offices, in different counties and even cross-border, and they went from one to the other on signing on day and on payment day. This has largely been stopped by fixing a time for them to attend at one place. They also don’t have overheads like mortgage or rent. Some of them offer substandard services (one example is tarmac) at high prices, others thieve, or beg, or stage incidents so they can then scream "racism" and claim compensation. We have even had incidents of them occupying a business car park and refusing to move unless they were paid to go.

Well a lot of them have their own businesses (fireplaces, carpets, furniture) and everything is paid by cash! They also build their own homes!

hmmm….
Well some of them are excellent scammers, thieves and con men.
They will buy and sell everything and anything, including the oil they syphon from schools, churches,housing tanks,the bags of clothes that householders leave out for charity but they go collect in the dead of night, the copper tanks they pilfer from houses , flats anywhere they can.
They do shoddy wormanship for vulnerable people that are stupid enough to employ them.
They make numerous benefit claims all over the country, they will steal anything that is not nailed down including your dog if they think they could money on it.
They park up anywhere they feel like and don’t have to pay rents or taxes and move off when they get fed up and leave someone else to clean up their mess.
I know not all are like this but lets be honest the majority of them are and then they shout racism when people complain about them.

The idea is they steal a lot. My hubby’s work has a shop filled with various equipment tools, generators..hundreds of thousands worth of equipment and whatnot. ( in Northern Ireland) They were warned from the start to look out for gypsies. When we think of gypsies..its a woman ( usually like russian) with a scarf over her head and long skirt with a covered wagon from a story book lol But he was told many times by locals they come and will steal everything. Trick you and ask for directions while checking out what you have and then come back to take it.
He hasnt ever seen any or had anything stolen yet but people are quite adament about how ruthless they are and will rob you blind given the chance.
But working and not paying taxes, or mortgage etc. Kind of affords you more than a reg person who has to pay all those things.
